Question 1

What do front end 2020 FORD RANGER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 622 recorded sales of the 2020 FORD RANGER with front end damage, the median was $6,600, from $4,000 to $9,200. That is 3% below the $6,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,450 a good price for this 2020 FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

1296 comparable 2020 FORD RANGER listings sold at auction for a median of $6,800, spanning $3,950 to $10,400. At $4,450 this one went 35% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This FORD RANGER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 FORD RANGER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this FORD RANGER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MA - EAST TAUNTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 220 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $275-$400, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 63,651 miles high for a 2020 FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 FORD RANGER listings at auction averaged 79,186 miles across 1296 sales, so at 63,651 miles this one sits 20% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
