Question 1

What do front end 2019 FORD RANGER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 837 recorded sales of the 2019 FORD RANGER with front end damage, the median was $6,600, from $3,950 to $9,500. That is 6% below the $7,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,600 a good price for this 2019 FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

1761 comparable 2019 FORD RANGER listings sold at auction for a median of $7,000, spanning $4,050 to $10,400. At $6,600 this one went 6% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This FORD RANGER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a salvage mean for this FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 FORD RANGER was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 FORD RANGER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 31,517 miles high for a 2019 FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 FORD RANGER listings at auction averaged 82,055 miles across 1761 sales, so at 31,517 miles this one sits 62% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
