Question 1

What do left front 2021 FORD RANGER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 29 recorded sales of the 2021 FORD RANGER with left front damage, the median was $7,800, from $5,225 to $10,800. That is 7% above the $7,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,925 a good price for this 2021 FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

1338 comparable 2021 FORD RANGER listings sold at auction for a median of $7,300, spanning $4,200 to $12,000. At $4,925 this one went 33% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This FORD RANGER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a salvage-nd mean for this FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 FORD RANGER was sold on a salvage-nd. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

How far is this FORD RANGER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in ND - FARGO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 1,200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $775-$1,150, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Who sold this 2021 FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
