Question 1

What do rear end 2022 FORD RANGER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 60 recorded sales of the 2022 FORD RANGER with rear end damage, the median was $9,100, from $4,500 to $14,100. That is 14% above the $8,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 FORD RANGER was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this FORD RANGER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in OR - PORTLAND. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 180 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $225-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 23,868 miles high for a 2022 FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 FORD RANGER listings at auction averaged 59,958 miles across 638 sales, so at 23,868 miles this one sits 60% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 FORD RANGER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Did this 2022 FORD RANGER come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rear end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
