Question 1

What do left & right side 2021 FORD RANGER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 18 recorded sales of the 2021 FORD RANGER with left & right side damage, the median was $6,550, from $3,650 to $10,500. That is 10% below the $7,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,800 a good price for this 2021 FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

1380 comparable 2021 FORD RANGER listings sold at auction for a median of $7,300, spanning $4,200 to $12,000. At $6,800 this one went 7% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 FORD RANGER was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this FORD RANGER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NJ - SAYREVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 30 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 99,164 miles high for a 2021 FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 FORD RANGER listings at auction averaged 66,419 miles across 1380 sales, so at 99,164 miles this one sits 49% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 FORD RANGER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
