Question 1

What do rear end 2020 FORD RANGER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 90 recorded sales of the 2020 FORD RANGER with rear end damage, the median was $7,300, from $4,800 to $11,100. That is 9% above the $6,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $10,300 a good price for this 2020 FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

1244 comparable 2020 FORD RANGER listings sold at auction for a median of $6,700, spanning $3,950 to $10,400. At $10,300 this one went 54% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD RANGER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 FORD RANGER's pre-damage retail value at $24,718. It sold for $10,300 — 58% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

Is 57,081 miles high for a 2020 FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 FORD RANGER listings at auction averaged 78,772 miles across 1244 sales, so at 57,081 miles this one sits 28% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This FORD RANGER has rear end and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 FORD RANGER was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.
