Question 1

What do rear end 2019 FORD RANGER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 136 recorded sales of the 2019 FORD RANGER with rear end damage, the median was $7,800, from $4,450 to $11,500. That is 11% above the $7,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,450 a good price for this 2019 FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

1710 comparable 2019 FORD RANGER listings sold at auction for a median of $7,000, spanning $4,050 to $10,400. At $4,450 this one went 36% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD RANGER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 FORD RANGER's pre-damage retail value at $27,462. It sold for $4,450 — 84% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 FORD RANGER was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

This FORD RANGER has rear end and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 42,582 miles high for a 2019 FORD RANGER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 FORD RANGER listings at auction averaged 81,739 miles across 1710 sales, so at 42,582 miles this one sits 48% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
