What do rear end 2020 FORD MUSTANG models sell for?

Across 214 recorded sales of the 2020 FORD MUSTANG with rear end damage, the median was $7,700, from $4,450 to $14,800. That is 13% above the $6,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $42,500 a good price for this 2020 FORD MUSTANG?

2191 comparable 2020 FORD MUSTANG listings sold at auction for a median of $6,800, spanning $3,850 to $14,000. At $42,500 this one went 525% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD MUSTANG sell for?

The insurer put this 2020 FORD MUSTANG's pre-damage retail value at $86,958. It sold for $42,500 — 51% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

This FORD MUSTANG has rear end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

How far is this FORD MUSTANG from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in PA - PHILADELPHIA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Is 8,637 miles high for a 2020 FORD MUSTANG?

Comparable 2020 FORD MUSTANG listings at auction averaged 61,813 miles across 2191 sales, so at 8,637 miles this one sits 86% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
