Question 1

What do front end 2023 FORD MUSTANG models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 505 recorded sales of the 2023 FORD MUSTANG with front end damage, the median was $8,900, from $4,550 to $15,700. That is 11% below the $10,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $16,800 a good price for this 2023 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

1047 comparable 2023 FORD MUSTANG listings sold at auction for a median of $10,000, spanning $4,950 to $16,900. At $16,800 this one went 68% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This FORD MUSTANG sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this FORD MUSTANG from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MD - WALDORF. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 40 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 9,542 miles high for a 2023 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 FORD MUSTANG listings at auction averaged 30,278 miles across 1047 sales, so at 9,542 miles this one sits 68% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 FORD MUSTANG. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
