Question 1

What do front & rear 2016 FORD MUSTANG models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 60 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD MUSTANG with front & rear damage, the median was $4,738, from $3,350 to $8,100. That is 2% below the $4,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,050 a good price for this 2016 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

2412 comparable 2016 FORD MUSTANG listings sold at auction for a median of $4,850, spanning $3,350 to $9,100. At $5,050 this one went 4% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This FORD MUSTANG sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a salvage mean for this FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD MUSTANG was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

Is 28,236 miles high for a 2016 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD MUSTANG listings at auction averaged 97,841 miles across 2412 sales, so at 28,236 miles this one sits 71% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This FORD MUSTANG has front & rear and left & right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
