Question 1

Was $8,925 a good price for this 2015 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

267 comparable 2015 FORD MUSTANG listings sold at auction for a median of $6,200, spanning $4,050 to $10,000. At $8,925 this one went 44% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD MUSTANG sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2015 FORD MUSTANG's pre-damage retail value at $13,100. It sold for $8,925 — 32% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a original (texas) mean for this FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

This 2015 FORD MUSTANG was sold on a original (texas). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

This FORD MUSTANG has front & rear and left & right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 153,685 miles high for a 2015 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2015 FORD MUSTANG listings at auction averaged 90,070 miles across 267 sales, so at 153,685 miles this one sits 71% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2015 FORD MUSTANG come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front & rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
