Question 1

What do front end 2017 FORD MUSTANG models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 14 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD MUSTANG with front end damage, the median was $5,275, from $4,475 to $7,300. That is 4% below the $5,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,125 a good price for this 2017 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

2431 comparable 2017 FORD MUSTANG listings sold at auction for a median of $5,500, spanning $3,550 to $10,200. At $7,125 this one went 30% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD MUSTANG sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 FORD MUSTANG's pre-damage retail value at $24,025. It sold for $7,125 — 70% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a non-repairable (california) mean for this FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD MUSTANG was sold on a non-repairable (california). That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 5

What does "Run & Drive" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

Run & Drive is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 FORD MUSTANG. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

This FORD MUSTANG has front end and suspension damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
