Question 1

What do front end 2016 FORD MUSTANG models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 17 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD MUSTANG with front end damage, the median was $6,613, from $4,525 to $9,575. That is 36% above the $4,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,000 a good price for this 2016 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

2440 comparable 2016 FORD MUSTANG listings sold at auction for a median of $4,850, spanning $3,350 to $9,000. At $7,000 this one went 44% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD MUSTANG sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 FORD MUSTANG's pre-damage retail value at $31,071. It sold for $7,000 — 77% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage (illinois) mean for this FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD MUSTANG was sold on a salvage (illinois). A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

This FORD MUSTANG has front end and damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 67,826 miles high for a 2016 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD MUSTANG listings at auction averaged 98,248 miles across 2440 sales, so at 67,826 miles this one sits 31% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
