Question 1

What do rear 2016 FORD MUSTANG models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 82 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD MUSTANG with rear damage, the median was $5,350, from $3,950 to $8,600. That is 10% above the $4,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a salvage mean for this FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD MUSTANG was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

This FORD MUSTANG has rear and right front damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 130,847 miles high for a 2016 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD MUSTANG listings at auction averaged 97,355 miles across 2411 sales, so at 130,847 miles this one sits 34% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2016 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Did this 2016 FORD MUSTANG come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
