Question 1

What do rear end 2014 FORD MUSTANG models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 12 recorded sales of the 2014 FORD MUSTANG with rear end damage, the median was $6,500, from $5,200 to $8,100. That is 15% above the $5,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,200 a good price for this 2014 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

80 comparable 2014 FORD MUSTANG listings sold at auction for a median of $5,650, spanning $4,100 to $9,100. At $5,200 this one went 8% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD MUSTANG sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2014 FORD MUSTANG's pre-damage retail value at $18,520. It sold for $5,200 — 72% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this FORD MUSTANG from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in GA - ATLANTA EAST. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 250 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 145,793 miles high for a 2014 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2014 FORD MUSTANG listings at auction averaged 83,348 miles across 80 sales, so at 145,793 miles this one sits 75% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This FORD MUSTANG has rear end and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
