Question 1

Was $8,325 a good price for this 2013 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

64 comparable 2013 FORD MUSTANG listings sold at auction for a median of $5,900, spanning $4,350 to $9,500. At $8,325 this one went 41% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This FORD MUSTANG sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD MUSTANG sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2013 FORD MUSTANG's pre-damage retail value at $9,848. It sold for $8,325 — 15% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a clear (mississippi) mean for this FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

This 2013 FORD MUSTANG was sold on a clear (mississippi). A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

This FORD MUSTANG has front end and damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 108,726 miles high for a 2013 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2013 FORD MUSTANG listings at auction averaged 108,050 miles across 64 sales, so at 108,726 miles this one sits 1% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
