Question 1

What do front & rear 2020 FORD MUSTANG models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 52 recorded sales of the 2020 FORD MUSTANG with front & rear damage, the median was $7,500, from $3,950 to $15,700. That is 10% above the $6,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,200 a good price for this 2020 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

2150 comparable 2020 FORD MUSTANG listings sold at auction for a median of $6,800, spanning $3,875 to $14,100. At $7,200 this one went 6% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this FORD MUSTANG from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - SAN ANTONIO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 79,346 miles high for a 2020 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 FORD MUSTANG listings at auction averaged 61,385 miles across 2150 sales, so at 79,346 miles this one sits 29% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 FORD MUSTANG. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

This FORD MUSTANG has front & rear and suspension damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
