Question 1

What do undercarriage 2017 FORD MUSTANG models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 22 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD MUSTANG with undercarriage damage, the median was $6,700, from $4,050 to $15,200. That is 22% above the $5,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this FORD MUSTANG from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NV - NORTH LAS VEGAS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 350 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$425, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 FORD MUSTANG. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 166,791 miles high for a 2017 FORD MUSTANG?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD MUSTANG listings at auction averaged 95,954 miles across 2433 sales, so at 166,791 miles this one sits 74% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2017 FORD MUSTANG come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with undercarriage damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 1FATP8UH2H5293587?

Accepted Answer

For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
