What do hail 2018 FORD FUSION models sell for?

Across 72 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD FUSION with hail damage, the median was $4,300, from $3,250 to $9,300. That is 2% above the $4,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $4,250 a good price for this 2018 FORD FUSION?

2067 comparable 2018 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $4,200, spanning $3,150 to $10,800. At $4,250 this one went 1% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD FUSION sell for?

The insurer put this 2018 FORD FUSION's pre-damage retail value at $10,978. It sold for $4,250 — 61% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a clean title mean for this FORD FUSION?

This 2018 FORD FUSION was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Is 103,703 miles high for a 2018 FORD FUSION?

Comparable 2018 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 77,540 miles across 2067 sales, so at 103,703 miles this one sits 34% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 FORD FUSION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
