Question 1

Was $3,250 a good price for this 2017 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

1669 comparable 2017 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $3,775, spanning $3,075 to $5,300. At $3,250 this one went 14% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD FUSION sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 FORD FUSION's pre-damage retail value at $14,222. It sold for $3,250 — 77% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD FUSION was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 FORD FUSION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This FORD FUSION has vandalism and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 102,368 miles high for a 2017 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 87,741 miles across 1669 sales, so at 102,368 miles this one sits 17% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
