Question 1

What do side 2020 FORD FUSION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 246 recorded sales of the 2020 FORD FUSION with side damage, the median was $4,050, from $3,150 to $6,100. That is 2% below the $4,150 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,700 a good price for this 2020 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

2339 comparable 2020 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $4,150, spanning $3,150 to $7,500. At $6,700 this one went 61% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This FORD FUSION sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a certificate of title (p) mean for this FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 FORD FUSION was sold on a certificate of title (p). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 5

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD FUSION sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 FORD FUSION's pre-damage retail value at $28,450. It sold for $6,700 — 76% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 6

How far is this FORD FUSION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NJ - TRENTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 30 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
