Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2018 FORD FUSION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 72 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD FUSION with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $4,400, from $3,150 to $6,500. That is 5% above the $4,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $10,200 a good price for this 2018 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

2054 comparable 2018 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $4,200, spanning $3,150 to $10,700. At $10,200 this one went 143% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a certificate of vehicle title (p) mean for this FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 FORD FUSION was sold on a certificate of vehicle title (p). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 FORD FUSION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 69,423 miles high for a 2018 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 77,693 miles across 2054 sales, so at 69,423 miles this one sits 11% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Where was this FORD FUSION located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at COPART in AK - ANCHORAGE SOUTH. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.
