Question 1

What do normal wear 2018 FORD FUSION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 35 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD FUSION with normal wear damage, the median was $3,787, from $3,050 to $5,900. That is 10% below the $4,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,900 a good price for this 2018 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

2052 comparable 2018 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $4,200, spanning $3,150 to $10,700. At $5,900 this one went 40% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a cert of title-flood reblt salv (p) mean for this FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 FORD FUSION was sold on a cert of title-flood reblt salv (p). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 FORD FUSION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this FORD FUSION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CT - HARTFORD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 120 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

This FORD FUSION has normal wear and damage history damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
