Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2018 FORD FUSION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 72 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD FUSION with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $4,400, from $3,150 to $6,500. That is 6% above the $4,150 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,000 a good price for this 2018 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

1996 comparable 2018 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $4,150, spanning $3,150 to $10,325. At $7,000 this one went 69% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 FORD FUSION was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this FORD FUSION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - SACRAMENTO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 FORD FUSION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 77,605 miles high for a 2018 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 78,647 miles across 1996 sales, so at 77,605 miles this one sits 1% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
