Question 1

Was $4,525 a good price for this 2017 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

1670 comparable 2017 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $3,800, spanning $3,100 to $5,300. At $4,525 this one went 19% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD FUSION sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 FORD FUSION's pre-damage retail value at $12,595. It sold for $4,525 — 64% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a other (california) mean for this FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD FUSION was sold on a other (california). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

This FORD FUSION has left front and suspension damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 90,814 miles high for a 2017 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 87,747 miles across 1670 sales, so at 90,814 miles this one sits 3% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2017 FORD FUSION come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with left front damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
