Question 1

What do front & rear 2018 FORD FUSION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 12 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD FUSION with front & rear damage, the median was $5,225, from $3,750 to $9,400. That is 23% above the $4,250 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a clear mean for this FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 FORD FUSION was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this FORD FUSION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in OR - OGDEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 180 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $225-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 FORD FUSION. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 149,854 miles high for a 2018 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 76,438 miles across 2114 sales, so at 149,854 miles this one sits 96% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2018 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was WHEELZY. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
