Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2018 FORD FUSION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 325 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD FUSION with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $10,100, from $4,600 to $12,750. That is 143% above the $4,150 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This FORD FUSION sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 FORD FUSION was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

Is 55,846 miles high for a 2018 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 78,647 miles across 1996 sales, so at 55,846 miles this one sits 29% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

How far is this FORD FUSION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MI - SCHOOLCRAFT. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 550 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $475-$650, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2018 FORD FUSION from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 FORD FUSION was listed at IAAI as lot 42418974 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
