Question 1

What do front end 2017 FORD FUSION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 556 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD FUSION with front end damage, the median was $3,650, from $3,100 to $4,850. That is 3% below the $3,750 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,975 a good price for this 2017 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

1657 comparable 2017 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $3,750, spanning $3,075 to $5,300. At $3,975 this one went 6% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD FUSION was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

This FORD FUSION has front end and left side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

How far is this FORD FUSION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MO - KANSAS CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 780 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $500-$750, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 77,749 miles high for a 2017 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 87,721 miles across 1657 sales, so at 77,749 miles this one sits 11% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
