Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2017 FORD FUSION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 82 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD FUSION with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $4,050, from $3,100 to $6,400. That is 7% above the $3,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $17,800 a good price for this 2017 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

1676 comparable 2017 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $3,800, spanning $3,100 to $5,300. At $17,800 this one went 368% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a cert of title or salvage acq (p) mean for this FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD FUSION was sold on a cert of title or salvage acq (p). A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 FORD FUSION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This FORD FUSION has minor dent/scratches and normal wear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

How far is this FORD FUSION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - BAKERSFIELD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
