What do undercarriage 2017 FORD FUSION models sell for?

Across 14 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD FUSION with undercarriage damage, the median was $3,400, from $3,100 to $4,450. That is 9% below the $3,750 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $3,100 a good price for this 2017 FORD FUSION?

1657 comparable 2017 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $3,750, spanning $3,075 to $5,300. At $3,100 this one went 17% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD FUSION sell for?

The insurer put this 2017 FORD FUSION's pre-damage retail value at $9,340. It sold for $3,100 — 67% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 FORD FUSION. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD FUSION?

This 2017 FORD FUSION was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Is 84,329 miles high for a 2017 FORD FUSION?

Comparable 2017 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 87,721 miles across 1657 sales, so at 84,329 miles this one sits 4% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
