Question 1

What do rear end 2016 FORD FUSION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 79 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD FUSION with rear end damage, the median was $3,475, from $3,000 to $4,650. That is 3% below the $3,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,200 a good price for this 2016 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

481 comparable 2016 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $3,600, spanning $3,050 to $5,100. At $4,200 this one went 17% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD FUSION sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 FORD FUSION's pre-damage retail value at $13,559. It sold for $4,200 — 69% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE START PROGRAM" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE START PROGRAM is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 FORD FUSION. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this FORD FUSION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NY - NEWBURGH. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

This FORD FUSION has rear end and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
