Question 1

What do rear 2016 FORD FUSION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 26 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD FUSION with rear damage, the median was $3,350, from $3,000 to $4,250. That is 7% below the $3,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,000 a good price for this 2016 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

477 comparable 2016 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $3,600, spanning $3,050 to $5,000. At $3,000 this one went 17% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD FUSION was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 FORD FUSION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this FORD FUSION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in OH - NEW PHILADELPHIA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 430 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $375-$525, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 80,907 miles high for a 2016 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 81,889 miles across 477 sales, so at 80,907 miles this one sits 1% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
