Question 1

What does a clear mean for this FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD FUSION was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 2

How far is this FORD FUSION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - FRESNO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 FORD FUSION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

This FORD FUSION has electrical and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 163,156 miles high for a 2016 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 81,889 miles across 477 sales, so at 163,156 miles this one sits 99% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 3FA6P0H77GR197871?

Accepted Answer

3FA6P0H77GR197871 identifies this specific 2016 FORD FUSION in black with a 2.5l i-4 dohc, vvt, 175hp engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
