Question 1

What do front end 2018 FORD FUSION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 575 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD FUSION with front end damage, the median was $3,800, from $3,100 to $5,400. That is 8% below the $4,150 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,200 a good price for this 2018 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

2002 comparable 2018 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $4,150, spanning $3,150 to $10,300. At $4,200 this one went 1% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a cert of title (p) mean for this FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 FORD FUSION was sold on a cert of title (p). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

Is 31,017 miles high for a 2018 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 78,555 miles across 2002 sales, so at 31,017 miles this one sits 61% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE START PROGRAM" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE START PROGRAM is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 FORD FUSION. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

This FORD FUSION has front end and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
