Question 1

Was $8,800 a good price for this 2016 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

482 comparable 2016 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $3,600, spanning $3,050 to $5,200. At $8,800 this one went 144% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This FORD FUSION sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a clear (massachusetts) mean for this FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD FUSION was sold on a clear (massachusetts). A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

Is 109,999 miles high for a 2016 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 82,390 miles across 482 sales, so at 109,999 miles this one sits 34% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 3FA6P0G71GR263168?

Accepted Answer

3FA6P0G71GR263168 identifies this specific 2016 FORD FUSION with a 2.5l i4 fi dohc 16v nf4 engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 FORD FUSION from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 FORD FUSION was listed at IAAI as lot 38997183 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
