Question 1

What do front & rear 2019 FORD FUSION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 29 recorded sales of the 2019 FORD FUSION with front & rear damage, the median was $3,750, from $3,050 to $6,850. That is 9% below the $4,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a scrap-mi mean for this FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 FORD FUSION was sold on a scrap-mi. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

How far is this FORD FUSION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MI - DETROIT. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 550 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $475-$650, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

This FORD FUSION has front & rear and left & right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 59,724 miles high for a 2019 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 83,571 miles across 2486 sales, so at 59,724 miles this one sits 29% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2019 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
