Question 1

What do front end 2018 FORD FUSION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 574 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD FUSION with front end damage, the median was $3,800, from $3,100 to $5,400. That is 10% below the $4,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,700 a good price for this 2018 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

2054 comparable 2018 FORD FUSION listings sold at auction for a median of $4,200, spanning $3,150 to $10,700. At $3,700 this one went 12% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 FORD FUSION was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Is 42,491 miles high for a 2018 FORD FUSION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD FUSION listings at auction averaged 77,693 miles across 2054 sales, so at 42,491 miles this one sits 45% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

How far is this FORD FUSION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in OH - GROVE CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 430 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $375-$525, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 FORD FUSION. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
