Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2018 FORD FOCUS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 19 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD FOCUS with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $3,575, from $3,000 to $5,500. That is 11% below the $4,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,450 a good price for this 2018 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

229 comparable 2018 FORD FOCUS listings sold at auction for a median of $4,000, spanning $3,100 to $7,850. At $4,450 this one went 11% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a permit no brand - unfit (p) mean for this FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 FORD FOCUS was sold on a permit no brand - unfit (p). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

This FORD FOCUS has minor dent/scratches and normal wear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 FORD FOCUS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 155,182 miles high for a 2018 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD FOCUS listings at auction averaged 62,938 miles across 229 sales, so at 155,182 miles this one sits 147% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
