What do rear end 2018 FORD FOCUS models sell for?

Across 24 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD FOCUS with rear end damage, the median was $3,500, from $3,050 to $6,100. That is 12% below the $4,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $6,100 a good price for this 2018 FORD FOCUS?

236 comparable 2018 FORD FOCUS listings sold at auction for a median of $4,000, spanning $3,100 to $7,950. At $6,100 this one went 53% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD FOCUS sell for?

The insurer put this 2018 FORD FOCUS's pre-damage retail value at $22,771. It sold for $6,100 — 73% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 FORD FOCUS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD FOCUS?

This 2018 FORD FOCUS was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Is 41,704 miles high for a 2018 FORD FOCUS?

Comparable 2018 FORD FOCUS listings at auction averaged 63,001 miles across 236 sales, so at 41,704 miles this one sits 34% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
