Question 1

What do front end 2018 FORD FOCUS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 69 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD FOCUS with front end damage, the median was $4,000, from $3,150 to $6,300. That is level with the $4,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,150 a good price for this 2018 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

229 comparable 2018 FORD FOCUS listings sold at auction for a median of $4,000, spanning $3,100 to $7,850. At $3,150 this one went 21% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 FORD FOCUS was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this FORD FOCUS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MN - SAINT PAUL. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 1,100 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $725-$1,050, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 FORD FOCUS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 68,152 miles high for a 2018 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD FOCUS listings at auction averaged 62,938 miles across 229 sales, so at 68,152 miles this one sits 8% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
