Question 1

Was $4,500 a good price for this 2015 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

14 comparable 2015 FORD FOCUS listings sold at auction for a median of $4,300, spanning $3,100 to $4,975. At $4,500 this one went 5% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a cert of title or salvage acq (p) mean for this FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

This 2015 FORD FOCUS was sold on a cert of title or salvage acq (p). A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this FORD FOCUS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - SACRAMENTO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2015 FORD FOCUS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 90,519 miles high for a 2015 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2015 FORD FOCUS listings at auction averaged 91,110 miles across 14 sales, so at 90,519 miles this one sits 1% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2015 FORD FOCUS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with all over damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
