Question 1

What do front end 2018 FORD FOCUS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 71 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD FOCUS with front end damage, the median was $3,950, from $3,150 to $5,700. That is 1% below the $4,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,700 a good price for this 2018 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

236 comparable 2018 FORD FOCUS listings sold at auction for a median of $4,000, spanning $3,100 to $7,950. At $4,700 this one went 18% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a certificate of vehicle title mean for this FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 FORD FOCUS was sold on a certificate of vehicle title. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 FORD FOCUS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 40,391 miles high for a 2018 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD FOCUS listings at auction averaged 63,001 miles across 236 sales, so at 40,391 miles this one sits 36% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2018 FORD FOCUS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
