Question 1

What do hail 2018 FORD FOCUS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 20 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD FOCUS with hail damage, the median was $3,550, from $3,200 to $4,600. That is 11% below the $4,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a clean title mean for this FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 FORD FOCUS was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 FORD FOCUS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 159,827 miles high for a 2018 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD FOCUS listings at auction averaged 62,892 miles across 228 sales, so at 159,827 miles this one sits 154% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This FORD FOCUS has hail and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Did this 2018 FORD FOCUS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with hail damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
