Question 1

Was $5,100 a good price for this 2018 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

228 comparable 2018 FORD FOCUS listings sold at auction for a median of $4,000, spanning $3,100 to $7,850. At $5,100 this one went 28% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a bill of sale mean for this FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 FORD FOCUS was sold on a bill of sale. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

How far is this FORD FOCUS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - SAN ANTONIO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 21,524 miles high for a 2018 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD FOCUS listings at auction averaged 62,892 miles across 228 sales, so at 21,524 miles this one sits 66% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 FORD FOCUS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Did this 2018 FORD FOCUS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with left & right side damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
