Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2017 FORD FOCUS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 15 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD FOCUS with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $4,875, from $3,050 to $7,525. That is 13% above the $4,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,950 a good price for this 2017 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

255 comparable 2017 FORD FOCUS listings sold at auction for a median of $4,300, spanning $3,100 to $10,000. At $8,950 this one went 108% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a bill of sale mean for this FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD FOCUS was sold on a bill of sale. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 FORD FOCUS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 6,852 miles high for a 2017 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD FOCUS listings at auction averaged 71,383 miles across 255 sales, so at 6,852 miles this one sits 90% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this FORD FOCUS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MD - BRANDYWINE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 40 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
