Question 1

What do side 2017 FORD FOCUS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 25 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD FOCUS with side damage, the median was $4,175, from $3,150 to $10,400. That is 3% below the $4,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,000 a good price for this 2017 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

255 comparable 2017 FORD FOCUS listings sold at auction for a median of $4,300, spanning $3,100 to $10,000. At $4,000 this one went 7% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a dealer only clean title mean for this FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD FOCUS was sold on a dealer only clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this FORD FOCUS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in KS - KANSAS CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 74,488 miles high for a 2017 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD FOCUS listings at auction averaged 71,721 miles across 255 sales, so at 74,488 miles this one sits 4% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2017 FORD FOCUS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with side damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
