Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2016 FORD FOCUS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 17 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD FOCUS with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $3,625, from $3,000 to $4,900. That is 14% below the $4,238 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,150 a good price for this 2016 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

187 comparable 2016 FORD FOCUS listings sold at auction for a median of $4,238, spanning $3,150 to $9,200. At $4,150 this one went 2% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a cert of title mean for this FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD FOCUS was sold on a cert of title. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 FORD FOCUS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 41,968 miles high for a 2016 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD FOCUS listings at auction averaged 78,329 miles across 187 sales, so at 41,968 miles this one sits 46% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2016 FORD FOCUS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with minor dent/scratches damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
