Question 1

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD FOCUS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2013 FORD FOCUS's pre-damage retail value at $7,500. It sold for $4,850 — 35% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 2

What does a bos - rebuilt mean for this FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

This 2013 FORD FOCUS was sold on a bos - rebuilt. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2013 FORD FOCUS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

This FORD FOCUS has hail and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Did this 2013 FORD FOCUS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with hail damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2013 FORD FOCUS from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2013 FORD FOCUS was listed at COPART CANADA as lot 74542003 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
