Question 1

What do hail 2018 FORD FOCUS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 20 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD FOCUS with hail damage, the median was $3,550, from $3,200 to $4,600. That is 11% below the $4,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,175 a good price for this 2018 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

227 comparable 2018 FORD FOCUS listings sold at auction for a median of $4,000, spanning $3,100 to $7,850. At $3,175 this one went 21% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a original-tx mean for this FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 FORD FOCUS was sold on a original-tx. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

How far is this FORD FOCUS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - JUSTIN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Who sold this 2018 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Did this 2018 FORD FOCUS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with hail damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
