Question 1

What do rear end 2016 FORD FOCUS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 22 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD FOCUS with rear end damage, the median was $3,950, from $3,150 to $5,700. That is 7% below the $4,238 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,700 a good price for this 2016 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

187 comparable 2016 FORD FOCUS listings sold at auction for a median of $4,238, spanning $3,150 to $9,200. At $7,700 this one went 82% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD FOCUS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 FORD FOCUS's pre-damage retail value at $21,757. It sold for $7,700 — 65% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this FORD FOCUS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MI - WOODHAVEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 550 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $475-$650, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 77,908 miles high for a 2016 FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD FOCUS listings at auction averaged 78,329 miles across 187 sales, so at 77,908 miles this one sits 1% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD FOCUS?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD FOCUS was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.
